Dr. Prakash is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. Dr. Prakash completed her medical school in India. Thereafter, she immigrated to the United States and completed an Internal Medicine residency & fellowship in Rheumatology at Westchester Medical Center/ New York Medical Center, Valhalla, New York. Subsequently, Dr. Prakash worked as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, the only tertiary care center in the state of Oklahoma. During her stay at the University, her experience in the management of a variety of rheumatological disorders was further magnified with cutting-edge technology. Finally, Dr. Prakash moved to Florida with her family. She is excited to call Florida her new home and enjoys spending time with her friends & family and loves to travel. Her major interests include treating complicated Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Interstitial Lung Diseases, ANCA Vasculitis, and others to name a few.
